Tin Man Costumes

Actor Jack Haley first appears in the Wizard of Oz as Hickory, one of three farm hands working for Dorothy Gale's aunt and uncle. He later appears in the movie in a Tin Man costume and meets Dorothy on her way to see the Wizard. No longer content to rust away in the forest, the Tin Man's ambition is to get a heart and is assured by Dorothy that the Wizard can give him one. Before you know it, Dorothy and Toto are trapped inside the witch's castle but the Tin Man joins forces with the Cowardly Lion and the Scarecrow to fight the Wicked Witch and set Dorothy and Toto free. Once the group gets to Oz, the generous Wizard gives a heart-shaped clock to the Tin Man. If you, too, want to prove that you have a heart, wearing a Tin Man costume as your Halloween costume will certainly do it! Tin Man costumes are perfect for theme parties, too, and are available for men, women, and in kid sizes.
